Borders

My family crossed borders in the 19th century to escape pogroms. It was the same in the 20th century. Why, in the 21st century, do we not welcome those who are prepared to risk life and limb in their desire for a better life? The hook, the line, the sinker – a triptych – my response to Borders, the theme of Riverside Artists Group’s annual exhibition 2023 at the Polish Centre, London. Designed by John Potter (ex-RA exhibitions).
