Best of Times, Worst of Times: 2021-22

Artist Francesca Giuliano and I were invited by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea to make an artwork to ‘hang’ in Kensington Central Library. Best of Times, Worst of Times? is a physical and screen based art installation using some 300+ responses by library users to three questions – what book saved your sanity during lockdown – and did it help; what are you reading now that lockdown is over and what single thing about these books would you like others to know? These responses and observations became the content of the work.
